Be The Kind of Parent & Partner You
Want To Be
Life as a Dr + Mom is busy.
Your inner world doesn’t have to be.
When life is busy and we operate on autopilot, our mindset and energy often create friction instead of peace.
We fall back on the high-achiever habits that made us successful as doctors-
the perfectionism, the people-pleasing, and the drive to do it all "the right way."
While these traits helped us thrive in the medical training and practice, they make the mental load at home feel twice as heavy.
We say "yes" to overcommitments when we want to say "no," and we hold onto tasks because we’re afraid to be disappointed if we delegate. Between the clinic and the kitchen, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and resentful because you’re simply holding too much and trying to do it all.
Reducing your busy-ness is part of it but creating a peaceful home isn't just about changing your circumstances. It's also about navigating the internal shifts that allow you to stay steady even when life is still busy.
By intentionally decluttering your schedule and your mind, you can find your way back to your true, grounded self.
Calm
Experience peace within yourself and find calm and emotional regulation in those moments of overwhelm or stress.
Confidence
Carry that calm to create confidence in yourself and your decisions, so you set boundaries, communicate, engage, and make work and life decisions with confidence and ease.
Connection
React less and relate more. By protecting your own peace first, you create the emotional space to trade constant snapping for genuine, heart-centered connection.
It’s Never Too Late to
Turn Things Around
You did all the things. You checked the boxes, survived the training, established the career, and built the family. But the reality doesn’t feel as easeful or happy as you thought it would.
Instead of the presence and peace you imagined, there is the heavy weight of stress, frustration, and yelling. You know exactly what kind of partner and parent you want to be, but between the demands of the clinic and the chaos of running a home, you don’t know how to get there. You feel like you’re failing at work and failing at home.
Regardless of how strained or disconnected things feel right now, please know that your current reality is not your final destination.
None of us walk into medicine or motherhood with all the answers. We create plans based on how we think it will go, only to watch our idealistic imaginings get run over by the high-stakes pressure of medicine and the exhausting mental load of a busy household.
The good news is—it doesn’t have to stay this hard. You can re-pattern your response to the stress, moving out of survival mode and back into a life of ease and happiness.

Hello! I’m Diana Sodiq
A Little About Me
I am a mindset and Calm Mom coach for moms in medicine, a practicing physician, and a mom—just like you. I don't just help you manage your time. I help you change how you experience your life.
Why Coach Dr. Moms?
Because we are the heartbeat of our clinics and our homes, but we were never taught how to manage the weight of being both. We were trained to be high-achievers, to prioritize everyone else’s well-being, and to push through the fatigue. Yet, we weren't given the tools to regulate our own nervous systems or protect our peace when the mental load becomes "too much."
When we move out of autopilot and into an intentional, grounded way of being, the ripple effect is massive. We don’t just feel better; we show up as the partners and parents we actually want to be.
Together, We Can Shift the Load
As a Dr. Mom who has lived in the cycle of reactivity and exhaustion, I know the difference these shifts make. I’m passionate about helping women like you move past the survival mode and into a life of genuine calm and confidence.
Through coaching, we address the specific habits that make our lives feel heavy—the perfectionism, the overcommitting, and the "yeses" that should be "noes." We learn to navigate the internal shifts that allow us to lead our families with a centered heart, even when the schedule is full.
Imagine...
Deep, patient connections with your children, a thriving partnership with your spouse, and the quiet confidence to navigate your busiest weeks with grace.
Ready to trade the heavy for a deep exhale? Let’s chat.
When life is heavy, we often default to ‘power-over’ or ‘power-under’ interactions.
We either are overwhelmed and grasping to control every detail to keep the chaos at bay, or we feel so depleted that we retreat into a 'power-under' space- letting boundaries slip or withdrawing out of pure exhaustion.
These modes of operating aren’t just tiring; they create distance in our relationships and more noise in our minds. We aren’t failing; we’re simply using old survival blueprints that weren't designed to handle the unique mental load of our careers and our homes.
The shift happens when we stop managing the chaos and start leading our minds and our lives with intention. Coaching isn't about rehashing the past; it’s about installing a new operating system for your daily life. It’s the tactical work of reducing the load and the internal work of staying steady, so your home finally becomes a place of refuge instead of another shift you have to survive.
How It Works:
When you book a call with me, we’ll have a brief chat so I can get a sense of what’s going on and see how I can best support you.
I’ll explain my approach and the options we have for working together. You can ask any questions you have and see what type of support would be the best fit for your life and schedule.
If it feels like a good fit, we can book our first session and get started. There’s no pressure of any kind, simply an opportunity to see if this solution is right for you.
"These sessions are priceless! I have been able to express my thoughts to my partner in a way that is constructive to our relationship. My relationships with friends, coworkers, family and myself have improved drastically since working together."
-Dr. Jessica
"Diana’s coaching has helped me build foundational skills that help with so many areas of my life – from work stresses to parenting challenges and navigating extended family drama. I feel more calm, confident, connected, and intentional in my relationships."
